Saturday - finally great weather!

Oryst, Paul and I had a nice brunch with Christine and Mom at the Best Western in Bells Corners. Paul cut grass, Oryst repaired the screen door that Heidi burst through during the thunder storm this week, and I worked in my shop for 4 hours. I developed the pattern for our second stained glass acquarium panel in the basement. We will have a turtle and two tropical fish. Paul is in charge of naming them! Photo to come later!

Reunion with Leanne and Skyanne

Had a great evening visiting with family and our new cousin Leanne (Uncle Richard's daughter) and her beautiful daughter Skyanne (I hope I spelled this correctly). What a treat to find out that you have more family than you thought - and that they would be soooo nice!

Another wonderful weekend!

What a weekend. Slept late. Played with my 2 yr old great nephew Aiden. Didn't do any work. Had a nap. This is the life!

Busy weekend!

CA helped Meg move today and Oryst and Paul repaired the flashing on the roof. Neither of the boys fell off the roof! Going to dinner tonight with Genevieve and Adele at Zendasie in Gatineau. Can't think of anything profound to say right now - so I will end this and try again later! Besides, my cat Josie is walking across my keyboard demanding that I stop to pay some quality time with her immediately.

It is July 13th, work on the Merkur continues. Bottom half done - molding done and excellent! Stay tuned for more updates. Paul has to go to Canadian Tire for paint for 1985 model. Wish him luck!

About to watch a Chuck Norris movie, even though Paul hates him. CA loves Chuckie. She said she would leave her husband, at least for a weekend - if Chuck would only co-operate.

Learning how to blog

Well, after reading Blogging for Dummies and spending alot of time thinking about what to do first - here we are! Oryst, Carol Anne and Paul are in the bloggasphere. What to do next? Favourite movies, television shows, books, music and cars (for the boys) are a great place to start. So we are asking each other now, what are our favourites? Who says the internet doesn't promote conversation in the home, eh? Stay tuned - the 3 Denekas blog will improve with time - now that we have the framework, and a nifty new photos of the three of us!
